DanceData - Upgrade

Download the update data in "raw" text format.

If you require to be able to copy the components using diskettes to another computer, then they are also available in diskette sized chunks. There is a bit of work for me in preparing these files, so I have stopped automatically producing them for each release, not knowing if they are needed. So, if you need this, mail me (link below) and I will do it.

Upgrade the DanceData components

If you already have the DanceData system on your computer then you need not download the full kit. You can save on Internet connect time by downloading the following components and extracting the contents manually.

the latest application executable (153kb). Note this is ONLY if you have already installed version 4. If you are currently with Version 3, then first download the complete version 4 installation kit.
the upgrade data (2.5mb) - Zip file or
the upgrade data (2.6mb) - Exe file

Dnot hesitate to mail me (address on the home page) should any problems arise

Upgrade Installation

All that is required is to copy the files you receive by extracting the zip files above into 2 dedicated folders, where one is a sub-folder of the first. If you examine this screenshot of the main directory of a working DanceData system, you can see an example of what is required.

The "Raw" Data - text format

Now, for those who have interest in the raw data,

the comma, text-delimited file collection 1061kb)

Included with the .txt files (one for each table) is a .hdr file which may give you a hint as to the meaning of the individual data fields.
