DanceData - Screenshots

Startup screen - page Dances

You will be able to see that each of the principal "objects" in DanceData is available in its own 'tab'. When DanceData is started, the first page, that containing the information on dances, is displayed. All dances known are in the list box on the left. At the time of creation of this screenshot, there were 8,627 such dances.
The individual attributes of the dance are displayed in the fields at the top as you can see for 8th Battalion. Information which is unable to be represented in a single field is presented in the set of tabs on the right hand side of the page.

Dance search filter

This is the window used to narrow down the search for dances. You will see that I have asked for all 2-couple 32 bar reels in a longwise set, devised by Roy Goldring, containing a poussette but with no pas-de-basque. In addition, I must have the instructions and a suitable recording. (Needless to say, the results of this query are non-existent).
