Getting to Know You


32 bar Strathspey for 4 couples

1 - 2 All Advance and Retire.
3 - 4 1C with 2C, and 3C with 4C right hands across half way round.
5 - 6 All turn partner right hand half way round and stay facing in the middle.
7 - 8 All cast out to own sides (as in Argyll Strathspey).
9 - 12 1C with 4C, four hands round to the left. 1C stay in the middle facing down with nearer hands joined, 4C stay in the middle facing up with nearer hands joined.
13 - 16 1C dance under the arch made by 4C, cast round 3C while 4C dance up and cast round 2C.
17 - 24 2C with 4C and 1C with 3C poussette right round.
25 - 26 3C dance up two places (4C and 1C stepping down).
27 - 32 2C, 3C, 4C dance mirror reels of three (2C dance in and down, 3C out and up, 4C in and up).

Finish in order 2,3,4,1 ready to begin again.
