| 1 - 8 | 1st and 3rd couples dance a progressive figure of eight. 1st couple cross with the right hand, cast off through 3rd place, cross up through original position, and cast off to 3rd place while 3rd couple set, cross up through first place on opposite sides, cast off through 3rd place (opposite sides), and cross up to first place, own side. Stay facing out. |
| 9 - 16 | 3rd couple track:
- cast off one place, (2nd couple step up on 9 and 10) - meet, dance down the middle (nearer hands joined) - face each other, in the center of the set, and set to each other. - lead up (left hands) to face 1st corner positions. |
| 17 - 24 | Set to Corners and Spiral (3rd couple are the
active couple)
Set to 1st corners; Pull back right shoulders and spiral around each other, by the right shoulder, to face 2nd corners. Set to 2nd corners; Pull back right shoulders and spiral around each other, by the right shoulder, to finish in 2nd place, own side. |

In Fond Memory of Bennett Hamer, who died suddenly, of a heart attack.
He was registered to attend, but never made it to the weekend.
Bennett, danced regularly at events on the East coast of the USA. I
knew him
for 5 years before I realized he didn't live in Virginia! He was a
gentle man, and a gentleman. His full head of silver hair, and constant
smile will be missed.
